Where Excellence Meets Expertise

Leading the Industry in Service

Minority Status

Structured Building Solutions maintains the following minority business certifications:

WOSB Certificate

SBA WOSB is a federally verified certification.
WOSB status is confirmed by the U.S. Small Business Administration, so customers know it’s official and trusted by government agencies.

  • It opens doors to federal contracts set aside specifically for women-owned businesses.
Not every certification comes with contracting opportunities — WOSB does.

  • Some contracts can be awarded without a lengthy bidding process.
Under certain conditions, agencies can issue sole-source awards to WOSB-certified companies.

  • WOSB firms are easier for government buyers to find.
Certified businesses appear in SAM.gov and SBA search tools, making sourcing faster and more efficient.

  • Construction-related industries are commonly eligible.
Many building materials and construction NAICS codes qualify, which makes WOSB especially valuable in this space.

  • It pairs well with other certifications.
When combined with MBE, DBE, or SBE, WOSB strengthens supplier diversity goals for customers.

  • It supports a federal goal to award at least 5% of contracting dollars to women-owned businesses.
Customers working with WOSBs help support national diversity and inclusion initiatives.

  • Ownership and control requirements are strict.
To qualify, women must own and control at least 51% of the company and manage day-to-day operations.

hub Certificate

TX HUB is a State of Texas certification.
It’s administered by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts and officially recognizes Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs).

  • It helps Texas agencies and universities meet HUB participation goals.
State entities are encouraged — and often required — to include HUB-certified vendors in purchasing and contracting.

  • HUB-certified businesses are easier for Texas buyers to find.
Customers can quickly locate HUB vendors through the Texas HUB Program database.

  • TX HUB supports supplier diversity at the state and local level.
Working with a HUB helps customers meet diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) objectives within Texas.

  • It applies to a wide range of contracts.
HUB participation goals often apply to construction, materials, services, and procurement contracts across Texas.

  • Certification requirements are strict and verified.
To qualify, businesses must be at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by qualifying individuals and be based in Texas.

  • TX HUB pairs well with other certifications.
When combined with SBA WOSB, MBE, DBE, or SBE, it makes a company especially attractive to public-sector and large-scale customers.
